Aloe Blacc has announced details of an extensive UK headline tour, which will take place this winter. Beginning at Birmingham’s HMV Institute on December 3, Aloe’s nationwide trek will additionally call at Leeds, Nottingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle, Liverpool, Glasgow and Bristol. He will then play a huge show at London’s HMV Hammersmith Apollo on December 15, before concluding at Brighton’s Dome on the following night. News of Aloe’s UK tour follows the huge crossover success of ‘I Need A Dollar’, which has drawn comparisons with the likes of Marvin Gaye and Gil Scott-Heron. He and his wife are expecting their first child and he has decided to retire from touring to dedicate his life to raising a family. Out of respect, to allow a solid decision we felt it was best to hold off on sharing the news until Scott was ready to give a full statement.
