Due to phenomenal demand Diversity have added three matinee shows to their Bringing A Toy Story To Life Christmas tour in Bournemouth, Birmingham and Manchester (19th December).
After selling over 60,000 tickets at 27 shows across the country, and receiving rave reviews from both critics and fans alike, Diversity are bringing back their critically acclaimed Diversitoys tour at Christmas. Their new tour includes four arena dates (with seating set in an intimate theatre format) and two homecoming shows at London’s HMV Hammersmith Apollo.
The show involved jaw dropping routines from the group and included state-of-the-art lighting and screens plus music as diverse as their performances. Within the show you will see action figures, Ninja style break-dancers, martial arts experts, a dancing robot, a bionic boy, spies, a contortionist, a beat boxer plus many more surprises! This special Christmas edition of the show will feature even more surprises and will be the perfect family entertainment spectacle this Christmas.
Ashley Banjo says:
“We were been blown away by the reaction we received from our first tour. It has been amazing. We are really looking forward to going back out there with this show at Christmas and delivering even more surprises. I hope it will be an evening that people will never forget.”
Ashley, the group’s leader and choreographer has been dancing since he was just 5 years old. Incorporating several genres of music from classical to hip-hop, their diverse eye-catching routines won the hearts of the nation. In May 2009, Diversity took the UK by storm by winning Britain’s Got Talent. Much of the world were glued to their television screens to see Diversity overcome the odds and sweep to victory, in what was the most watched TVprogramme in these shores for over six years.
Spurred on by the group’s motto “Dream, Believe, Achieve”, they are a remarkable example of what can be accomplished with hard work, dedication and belief. Since winning the show, they have performed in front of H.M. The Queen on The Royal Variety Show, been the first act to perform outside No. 10 Downing Street, in front of the Prime Minister, and they star in the new British smash-hit film ‘StreetDance 3D’. They were even asked by Michael Jackson to open all of his 50 “This Is It” shows before his death. They have also been travelling the length of the country dancing for their legion of devoted fans.
Don’t Miss Out!! Expect to see everything you already love about Diversity on a much bigger scale, with loads of surprises!
