Two Door Cinema Club announce biggest shows to date

Two Door Cinema Club announce biggest shows to date due to popular demand:

10th March – Glasgow O2 ABC

12th March – London Roundhouse

18th March – Dublin Olympia

+ BAND RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘I CAN TALK’ AND THE DELUXE EDITION OF ALBUM ‘TOURIST HISTORY’

Fresh from a hugely successful festival season climaxing with a defining set to one of the biggest crowds of the weekend at Reading, Two Door Cinema Club continue on their upward trajectory with the release of their new single ‘I Can Talk’ on October 25th. The deluxe edition of their album, ‘Tourist History’, will precede this on October 4th as they announce three new shows (the biggest venues they’ve played to date) to add to their sold out UK tour.

The Northern Ireland trio first released ‘Tourist History’ in March and have since earned both a devoted word-of-mouth live following and huge critical acclaim. They have already sold over 40,000 albums since March and are currently on a sold out UK tour, including two dates at Shepherds Bush Empire where all tickets went within a couple of hours. The new deluxe edition of their album will feature a beautifully shot sixty minute documentary about the band and a special bonus disc of remixes. This includes the winning remix of the band’s track, ‘What You Know’, following a competition on the Two Door Cinema Club website in June.

The band’s new single, ‘I Can Talk’, which is released on the 25th October and has already attracted nearly 1.5 million YouTube plays and counting, is a brand new mix of the track by acclaimed producer and mixer Adrian Bushby, who has previously worked with Muse and Foo Fighters.

Brimming with pounding energy and youthful zeal, ‘I Can Talk’ has driving rhythms, spiky guitars, electro bass and an infectiously catchy vocal that encapsulates everything the band are about, again exemplifying why Two Door Cinema Club are one of the most talked about bands of the year.

After an incredible summer, Two Door Cinema Club already have big plans for next year too and have just announced details of their biggest shows to date following the sell-out success of their current UK tour (full dates below). The band will play three dates in March 2011 at Glasgow O2 ABC, London Roundhouse and Dublin Olympia.
