Eagle Rock Entertainment are proud to announce the simultaneous release on DVD and Blu-ray on 21 February 2011 of a brand new concert, filmed in high definition, “Rock ‘n’ Roll Party – Honouring Les Paul” from Jeff Beck [Cat No EREDV824 and ERBRD5075 respectively]. Filmed on 9 June 2010 at the Irridium Jazz Club in New York City – forever associated with the legendary Les Paul – this title captures Jeff Beck celebrating the great man with a selection of Les Paul songs and other great rock ‘n’ roll tracks on what would have been Les Paul’s 95th birthday.
Jeff Beck is joined by some very special guests including Imelda May and her band led by Darrel Higham on many of the tracks, plus there are appearances by Gary US Bonds, Brian Setzer and Trombone Shorty. The intimate setting puts you right there in the audience for a performance featuring stunning musicianship and truly great songs.
As well as the music, “Rock ‘n’ Roll Party – Honouring Les Paul” features a host of Bonus Features: An Interview with Jeff Beck; Behind The Scenes; ‘At home with Jeff Beck & his guitars’; ‘Jeff Beck & Les Paul – Rock ‘n’ Roll Tonite’ and ‘Les Paul & his little black box’.
Following on from the hugely successful release of Jeff Beck “Performing This Week…” in 2009, this release includes the classics Bye Bye Blues, Sitting On Top Of The World, Mockin’ Bird Hill, Peter Gunn, How High The Moon, New Orleans, Walking In The Sand and many more! This release is not to be missed by fans of either of these true guitar icons.

Howdy, Had tech trouble capturing debut local PBS showing but caught it next night on another. Jeff Beck’s project is simply glorious. He is our Rock’n’Roll Steward in his Bluecap! Not unlike his other Rock’n’Roll foray, i.e., Crazy Legs-Tribute to Gene Vincent & His Bluecaps with phenom Mike Sanchez and illustrious bandmates. This, Jeff Beck’s Rock’n’Roll Party-Honoring Les Paul is a ‘poifect’, single brilliant light among this seasons cheer illuminating our winter dim. Featuring Miss Imelda May, Darrell Higham and legendary Gary U.S. Bonds among others is plain outstanding.
