Listen to live soulful electric funk and join in on our indoor relay marathon in a bid to beat the London Marathon record at the third instalment of Market Club, the only place to be on a Sunday
Market Club is a free music, art and Olympic sports event for the leading East London Arts Centre that will brighten up your Sunday afternoon.
Live music comes from the brilliant The Thirst and the soulful Embers (spotted supporting Ghostpoet) plus laid back Sunday sets from Lake of Stars veteran Goldierocks, The Young Offenders Institute DJs. And a very special secret DJ set from one of the festivals favourite artists.
Market Club launched in February with over 1000 people passing through every month. Many ping pong balls have been lost, games and prizes were won, there have been some great DJ sets from the likes of Ali B, Ross Allen, Dom Chung and live music for your Sunday afternoon from Scubaroots, Benin City, festival favourite Nick Mulvey and many more.
Things continue on 17th of April with a healthy dose of Olympic sports added to the mix of art, markets, film and music. Market Club is the only place where you can watch a matinee, do some shopping, enjoy live music then try out a relay marathon challenge 26 runners, 1 mile each.
Sundays in East London are alive from Brick Lane, Spitalfields and Columbia Rd markets get indoors for the Market Clubs stalls featuring vintage fashion from Frockney Rebel, The Cut Out Girls and many more.
If you want to see some of East London (and the World’s) finest street art, which can be found moments away from Rich Mix, sign up to Street Art London’s street art tour which starts and finishes at Market Club.
Weve also got newspapers and board games if you just want to sit down, relax and enjoy our food and drink offers at the newly re-furnished Rich Mix bar.
